Forever and Forever
One of the ways the gospel is good news is that it is eternally good news. If there was ever any moment, way out in the future, however remote, when all this grace and mercy shut down—the gospel would not be good news. It would still be bad news.
But the eternal promise of the gospel is that forever and forever, far beyond this life, in a resurrected world, as resurrected human beings, we will be with the Lord enjoying the eternal romance forever, and forever, and forever.
