Video: The Prodigal Church
I want to appeal to you...
If you can reject the leaven of Herod and of the Pharisees, you can experience the leaven of the kingdom. It is growing. It is expanding. The gospel really is power.
If you treat your church like a business, you will see other churches as competition. You'll worry about turf and market share.
This is my manifesto. I'm not angry about it. I'm not throwing stones. I just want to raise the banner for the gospel. I want it to fly high over all of our churches. Because in the end, they're not our churches, but Christ's.
When the end of the age comes and the Lord calls us home—either by death or his return—and we stand before him, we will not bring anything into his kingdom that we don't throw at his feet.
The gospel is going into the world. It is bearing fruit and growing. The gospel-renaissance comes spiritually. And Spirit-filled men lay hold of it.
The Prodigal Church

Written in the voice of a trusted friend, this book gently challenges pastors to rethink the “attractional” church model in favor of an explicitly biblical approach that is gospel focused, grace based, and fruit oriented.
