“Ambitious! Adapting the greatest Christian novel into a graphic novel—one that captures every important scene—is a lofty aim. Only one person I know could do this: Jeremy Patenaude. And he has! Here is a new adaptation worthy of celebration. This retelling puts new color to life’s most defining moments: shame, conviction, forgiveness, doubt, despair, assurance, pilgrimage, and radiant homecoming. Here again we meet the high cost of getting rid of our burden—the cross of Christ—and the unspeakable promise of a journey home to a place where we will ‘enjoy the King in his glory forever, a treasure without equal.’ This is a wonderful way to encounter Bunyan’s masterpiece for the first time.”
